Bertille OBOSSOU holds a Professional Degree in Epidemiology from the University of Parakou in Benin (ENATSE-UP). Since 2019, she has been actively involved in a number of community actions as a volunteer with the Association pour l’Education, la Santé et la Sexualité en Afrique (APESSA), where she has taken part in many activities to defend the rights of girls and children and empower girls.

I have a professional degree in Biological and Medical Analysis. I’ve worked in about three centres, but mainly in epidemiological programmes in my home country. I’ve gained a lot of experience there and I’m ready to take this training course and carry out concrete actions.

Dovoedo Elodie

I graduated in 2018 from the National School for Higher Technicians in Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of Parakou. I did work placements in 2019-2020 and I was also a volunteer in the management of COVID-19 in 2020-2021. My basic training in epidemiological surveillance and public health has enabled me to acquire many skills in drafting research protocols, conducting population surveys, etc.

Diallo Rouguiatou

Rouguiatou Diallo, 32, is of Guinean origin. She holds a doctorate in medicine and a certificate of expertise in project monitoring and evaluation. She began her career working in several clinics in her home country, before becoming more involved in a number of humanitarian organisations. She then discovered the world of research and set her sights on acquiring skills in the field of public health.

Coulibaly Bakary

I am 28 years old and of Malian nationality. I obtained my PhD in Pharmacy in 2019. Since defending my thesis entitled « Polymorphism of the PfK13 gene and resistances associated with delayed parasite clearance in the localities of Missira and Selingué », I have become a research assistant at the LBMA, where I was able to provide support for molecular diagnosis by PCR during the Dengue and COVID 19 epidemics.

Moussa Neino Abdou

Niger

Moussa Neino Abdou, of Nigerian origin, graduated from Abdou Moumouni University in 2008 with a PhD in Medicine. He continued his studies with a Diplôme Etude Spécialisé en Médecine Interne) obtained in 2015. Since December 2015, he has been Head of Emergency Medicine at the Maradi Regional Hospital. He has also been appointed focal point for the diabetes management unit, prescribing doctor and trainer in HIV management and trainer in malaria and sickle cell disease management at the Maradi Regional Hospital Centre.

SALLAN Ortiz

Benin

Born on 13 April 1998 in Parakou, SALLAN Ortiz has a degree in public health and epidemiology. After completing his university studies at the University of Parakou, followed by several internships, he worked for the N’Dali Town Hall and for the Foundation for Scientific Research (FORS) on the LAVIHiB study project on Lassa fever.
